From the Planning Stages to Publishing it Online At Impliweb, we believe client involvement is an important ingredient in the creation process of a website. However, the way we work with our clients means we allow you to be involved as little or as much as you like, depending on your own personal levels of expertise and of course time restrictions. Here is step-by-step breakdown of how your website is created; from the early planning stages to publishing it online.

1) CLIENT BRIEF

A meeting between Impliweb and the client is arranged. Website content and design features, projects deadlines and budgets, are among the things that are discussed. This can be done in person, by e-mail or via telephone. We will then work on the proposal and if we require any more details regarding the website, we will contact the client for further information.

2) PROPOSAL

After we have discussed the websites requirements, we provide the client with a proposal. The proposal will contain the full website specifications including information such as the amount of pages the website will have, the content that will be on the website, the projects deadline and the final price.

3) APPROVAL AND CONTRACT

Once the client is satisfied with the proposal, a contract is drawn up and signed so the project can be commenced. In most cases, an initial down-payment (usually 25% - 50% of the final price) will be paid by the client before work on the project commences.

4) DESIGN, PROGRAMMING AND DEVELOPMENT

We will continue to design and code the website to meet your full requirements. Any dynamic content and back-end features (such as a content management system) are integrated into the website at this stage. Content is gradually added until the whole website is almost complete.

5) EVALUATION

The website is thoroughly tested for errors and bugs and restricted areas are double checked to ensure they are properly secure from any unauthorized entry. The website is shown to the client for any final changes and to ensure it meets all the agreed specifications. If at this stage the client decides to include more features on the website (such as a blog, online shopping cart, etc), this can be discussed with the client but shouldn't be a problem.

6) FINAL DELIVERY

The website is loaded onto our web servers and connected to your domain name, thus appearing live on the internet.

7) FUTURE WEBSITE MAINTENANCE

Most of our websites are created with an admin control panel which allows you to easily modify any images or text without the need for any programming skills whatsoever. However, if you prefer for us to make the changes for you, we can put you on a website maintenance package or charge you on an hourly basis as and when you require changes.
