U6-LR è un punto di accesso ad alte prestazioni che sfrutta la tecnologia WiFi 6 avanzata per fornire una potente copertura wireless agli ambienti aziendali.
Fornisce una velocità radio aggregata fino a 3,0 Gbps con 5 GHz (4x4 MU-MIMO e OFDMA) e radio 4x4 MIMO da 2,4 GHz. L'U6-LR si integra perfettamente in qualsiasi ambiente ed è in grado di essere montato in ambienti interni e semi-esterni (classificazione IP54).

Nata nel 2005, è tra i principali produttori di apparati di comunicazione wireless. Tra i maggiori successi l'AirMAX e l'AirFiber.Ubiquiti Networks è una società statunitense con sede a San José, California, attiva nel settore delle telecomunicazioni wireless. Nata nel giugno 2005, Ubiquiti progetta e realizza piattaforme tecnologiche per mercati emergenti grazie alle quali realizzare reti senza fili per il cosiddetto ubiquitous networking (infrastrutture di rete per l'Internet delle cose).Ubiquiti Networks fece il suo ingresso nel mondo delle telecomunicazioni wireless nel giugno 2005, annunciando la commercializzazione di “Super Range”, la prima serie di schede radio mini-PCI. Equipaggiate con circuiteria Qualcomm Atheros, queste schede lavoravano sulle frequenze da 2,4 gigahertz e 5,8 gigahertz e vennero adottate da diversi operatori telefonici e delle telecomunicazioni. Nel gennaio 2006 Ubiquiti Networks espanse la propria linea prodotti con la serie SR9 (scheda in grado di lavorare sulla frequenza da 900 megahertz) e la tecnologia Freedom Frequency, in grado di sfruttare frequenze sino a 60 gigahertz per la propagazione del segnale radio.Dopo aver esteso il supporto anche alla banda da 4,9 gigahertz con la schda SR4, Ubiquiti annunciò l'uscita della serie “Xtreme Range”. Nell'agosto 2007 la scheda XR5 ricevette l'attenzione della stampa internazionale grazie ad un gruppo di radioamatori italiani. Utilizzando due antenne paraboliche e due schede XR 5, gli italiani furono in grado di battere ogni record di distanza nel campo delle telecomunicazioni senza fili. Riuscirono, infatti, a mettere in contatto tra di loro due punti distanti 304 chilometri, inviando dati ad una velocità di poco inferiore ai 5 megabit al secondo.Nel 2008 la società californiana presentò nuove linee prodotti, annunciando la produzione e la commercializzazione di router e modem wireless rispondenti alle direttive IEEE 802.11 b/g. Fu la volta, quindi, del Bullet, NanoStation, NanoStation Loco, PicoStation eRouterStation. L'anno successivo Ubiquiti Networks presentò AirMAX, protocollo proprietario che gestisce lo scambio wireless di pacchetti sfruttando i principi della tecnologia MIMO.Nel corso del 2010 moltissime conferenze riguardanti l'AirMAX si tennero in Europa, Asia, America del Nord e America del Sud. Ubiquiti Networks ne approfittò per lanciare nuove serie di prodotti come AirWire, WiFiStation e Power AP N. Inoltre, la società con sede a San Josè estese il supporto della tecnologia AirMAX anche alle bande di frequenza da 900 megahertz e 3 gigahertz. Nell'ultimo trimestre Ubiquiti presentò alla stampa la tecnologia AirSync e il sistema di comunicazione senza fili per ambienti interni UniFi. La tecnologia AirSync, in particolare, suscitò l'interesse della stampa e degli addetti ai lavori: sfruttando moduli GPS, infatti, potevano essere eliminate le interferenze generate da due o più punti di accesso posti uno nelle vicinanze dell'altro. Nell'agosto 2011 vennero annunciati punti di accesso UniFi studiati per ambienti esterni, così come l'AirCam/AirVision, software per telecamere di sorveglianza senza fili e IP Camera.Nel 2012 è stata presentata alla stampa AirFiber, piattaforma wireless in grado di funzionare sulla banda di frequenza da 24 gigahertz. Sfruttando particolari protocolli di comunicazione, i dispositivi dotati di questa tecnologia sono in grado di scambiare pacchetti dati con una velocità massima di 1,4 gigabit al secondo.
